Hey @FirelightMLPOC I really like your idea, APPROVED
Thanks! Also, sorry about not posting, new content, I got too busy with the birds and making sure that the broody ones can A.) brood and hatch eggs & B.) have me not be screeched at when I walk by & C.) so I don't accidentally try to grab their eggs and get my hand pecked at, chased by said broody hen if I grab the eggs, and get kicked by the broody hen while feeding & watering the other animals. Broody chickens can be evil....

Today's philosophy is:
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” George Bernard Shaw
“Hardship often prepares an ordinary person for an extraordinary destiny." - Christopher Markus
“When what you hear and what you see don't match, trust your eyes.” Dale Renton
“Every man is a creature of the age in which he lives and few are able to raise themselves above the ideas of the time.” Voltaire
“How long are you going to wait before you demand the best for yourself and in no instance bypass the discriminations of reason? You have been given the principles that you ought to endorse, and you have endorsed them. What kind of teacher, then, are you still waiting for in order to refer your self-improvement to him? You are no longer a boy, but a full-grown man. If you are careless and lazy now and keep putting things off and always deferring the day after which you will attend to yourself, you will not notice that you are making no progress, but you will live and die as someone quite ordinary.
From now on, then, resolve to live as a grown-up who is making progress, and make whatever you think best a law that you never set aside. And whenever you encounter anything that is difficult or pleasurable, or highly or lowly regarded, remember that the contest is now: you are at the Olympic Games, you cannot wait any longer, and that your progress is wrecked or preserved by a single day and a single event. That is how Socrates fulfilled himself by attending to nothing except reason in everything he encountered. And you, although you are not yet a Socrates, should live as someone who at least wants to be a Socrates.” Epictetus
'If you don’t read the newspaper you are uninformed.
you do read the newspaper you are misinformed.” —Mark Twain
"life without a friend is like a death without a witness"
“A true friend laughs at your stories even when they’re
not so good and sympathizes with your troubles even
when they’re not so bad.” —Irish proverb
“If you see injustice and say nothing, you have taken the side
of the oppressor.” —Desmund Tutu
We are more often treacherous through weakness than
through calculation. ~Francois De La Rochefoucauld
The warm sun
Beams through the clear air
Upon glistening leaves.
And the birds
Sweep in long arcs
Over the green grass.
They seem to say,
"This might last forever!"
But it doesn't.
~Fred Will, 1933

"With just one polka dot, nothing can be achieved. In the universe, there is the sun, the moon, the earth, and hundreds of millions of stars.
